In addition to modern classrooms, each campus has a centralized library or learning resource center, gymnasium, and cafeteria. Port Neches-Groves High School also houses vocational  facilities, computer labs, and a science wing.  A recent $123M bond was approved by district voters which will build two new middle schools, provide for renovations/new buildings for the high school, provide for necessary elementary campus renovations, and purchase new buses.

PN-GISD offers a wide range of TEA accredited educational opportunities, from early childhood through grade 12. PN-G High School is also accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The curriculum is structured to serve all students--both the college bound and the work-oriented student.

PN-GISD students consistently perform well on standardized measures of achievement. In addition, TAKS scores are consistently above state and regional averages. Other testing measures also indicate strong academic preparation.

PN-GISD operates under the direction of the Texas Education Agency and in conjunction with Region V Education Service Center.

Port Neches-Groves ISD operates without discrimination on the basis of sex, race, color, religion, national origin, age, or disability
